We want to be a church and people who are extravagantly generous to our world. In other words, tithing is the bare minimum. Tithing is a principle, but it is our floor, not our ceiling. He said that if we would trust Him in this area of our lives that He would “open the windows of Heaven and pour out such a blessing that we couldn’t even contain it.” However, many times this is where we begin and end with trusting God with our finances. Tithe literally means “tenth” and in Malachi 3:10, we see God telling His people to test him with the tithe. Generosity is one of the ways that we can worship God and be blessing to those around us. We believe in the tithes and offerings of the church. At Brave Church we believe that we are called to live generous lives.
