Especially if you’re getting into larger footage dimensions like 2K, 4K, 8K and above, it’s about time for you to invest on the appropriate hard drive, in order for your transfer rates between your computer and the drive to be fast enough and get you some kind of real time playback. If you’re serious about editing, I’d really recommend you to get yourself an external hard drive.
